Shalianzi's bubble has been burst since he completed a double here and at Stratford in August and he continues to look a hard ride. However, this is not a strong handicap with the potentially well-treated Spa Hill not having raced since third on fast ground at Plumpton in September of last year. Join The Navy has won twice around here but never off a mark this high and Rolling Dough turned in a shocker when last seen at Cartmel in May. CITY SUPREME didn't run very well on his reappearance at Exeter but possibly found the trip too far. The blinkers are back on today and David Noonan takes off a valuable 5lb so a better effort is anticipated.
