Don Fernando, Caribbean Cove and Great Travel look the ones to concentrate on in this Beginners chase and we will side with Caribbean Cove. The gelding from the Henrietta Knight yard won a hurdle a couple of runs ago then fell on his chasing debut. He is sure to have been well schooled since and he will not be far away if he puts in a clear round. Don Fernando was the best of these over hurdles and it would be no surprise if he were to win but he is only small and lacks scope so for that reason is opposed. Great Travel has plenty of experience over fences and is still open to plenty of improvement but all his best form is on soft ground. Of the remainder Mister Putt has not progressed so we will side with Caribbean Cove.
