In depth

Verdict

Chris Gordon will be keen to win this and BON SPIEL, who represents the sponsors, should give them a winning day out despite the fact the he's still a maiden after 21 starts over hurdles. His latest effort behind Speedy Directa at Taunton should be good enough in what is undoubtedly a moderate contest. Just Beware is getting close to his 100th start and though he's won three times over hurdles he's also been second 15 times and can't find a finishing burst. Finch Flyer has been finding life tough from a much too high mark but the assessor has relented and dropped him a massive 10lb so he could go well while What's For Tea has also taken a drop in the ratings though she's yet to reach the first two in 13 starts over timber.
