In depth

Verdict

Master T proved that he has the guts for a battle at Plumpton last month and can get the better of in-form rivals Walcot Lad and The Staggery Boy, who have both been banging on the door lately. Just Mucking Around appeals as the best of the rest but he was a surprise winner last time and looks opposable off his revised mark. The Staggery Boy acted well on his debut at this course last month and should again run his race. However, he lacks a change of gears and may need the ground a little faster to be at his best. Walcot Lad is another with a fair bit of experience of the course and deserves a change of fortune after some near misses. However, Gary Moore has a good handle on the form of his latest start and, with jockey bookings suggesting that Master T is the preferred runner form his yard today, Master T looks to have been found a good opening to extend his own run of good form today.
