Verdict

Cloonavery is looking light in the handicap now but there's a reason for that; he's out of form so Evan Williams may get a win out of COURELLA on that one's debut for the welsh trainer. The six-year-old was in with every chance of scoring last time out before he clipped heels with the leader and slipped over so although he carries extra weight here he looks likely to run a big race. Shinnecock Bay has been placed in a couple of recent efforts but ultimately well held and Bid Art has to enter calculations as he holds precious course and distance winning form. A pretty open race but Courella gets the vote on debut for Evan Williams.
