Harefield was a 25/1 winner around here on his reappearance last season but remains 4lb higher. Gateway To Europe was in good form around this time last year when recording a course and distance success. He looked to be coming to hand again when second at Uttoxeter and shouldn’t be far away but Chapmanshype is 3-3 around here and wasn’t given a hard time at Southwell on his return to action whereas Umndeni was out of sorts when last seen in the autumn. Percy Street is an infrequent winner but the Newton Abbot runner-up is a pound lower than for his last success though we’ll take a chance on JACAMAR, who was most unfortunate at Newton Abbot when forced off the track as he was travelling well at the time.
