Swallowshide was second in this last year but recent efforts have left much to be desired. MONSIEUR GIBRALTAR’s only recent failure came when unseating his rider at Ascot in March. He never looked in danger of defeat when favourite at Cheltenham less than two weeks ago and it will be surprise if he fails to give weight to this bunch. Danandy has found some form lately and is a previous course winner while Alan Hill often has a winner at this meeting and saddles Smadynium, who hasn’t been disgraced since switching from the Shark Hanlon stable.
