A trappy little maiden hurdle rounds off proceedings, and as ever with this sort of race, we do advise a market check, but in the meantime we'll tentatively put forward PERKIN WARBECK as our selection, in preference to Fair Point and Kayf Aramis. The selection is owned, trained and ridden by Mark Rimmell, who runs a small but very successful stable. He was second in both his runs last season, and could go one better following a near eight month lay-off. Fair Point had a decent first run under rules last time out on debut for Charlie Mann. A dual point to poin t winner, he looks capable at this sort of level. Kayf Aramis has only had a couple of goes over hurdles, but showed big improvemnt last time over timber after falling previously. We know he's consistent on the flat, but if there's further improvement in jumping, he should be involved at the business end. Market moves should be noted, and it's not a race to really get the blood rushing. There has to be a winner though, and we think that can be Perkin Warbeck.
