Verdict

PLAY THE ACE (NAP) was well beaten on his hunter chase debut at Perth but that run would have been needed. His wins last year came over hurdles but he was also a decent chaser in his prime and is the class act in this. For 'n' Against is a useful sort who has won under Rules but Witness In Court was well beaten on his return to action at Kempton, though should strip fitter here. Steeles Terrace won the maiden on this card 12 months ago but could find a couple of these too strong.
