Verdict

This looks competitive at the likely top end of the market, with SUFAD taken to land it, with the main dangers likely to be House of Lords and Morestead. The selection has the highest rating of the four that have one, and has shown up well in two runs for Gary Moore following a short and moderately successful flat career in Ireland. The trip certainly won't be a problem, and continued improvement could see first home. Morestead is giving plenty of weight away all round, and is the most experienced runner. He's also the only entrant to have already won over hurdles. That was here over this distance three runs back, since when he's disappointed, but a drop down to this grade will make him competitive. House of Lords is making his hurdling debut after a switch from Michael Bell's stable to that of Nick Gifford. He didn't do anything in handicaps on nthe flat after breaking his maiden at the first time of asking, but if taking to the fences should be involved. Our selection to win the contest though is Sufad.
