Verdict

July’s Worcester winner Weightfordave has struggled under penalties since and that could be the case again here. DESIREMOI D’AUTHIE was placed twice for Alan King and raced in useful handicap company at the start of the summer. He has his first run for Chris Gordon after a break but would probably win this if anywhere near his best. Lord Condi won a bumper here in May and would be a threat if taking an instant liking to hurdles but Hawridge Glory has disappointed on the Flat this year after winning twice in 2017.
