    Verdict

Just Muckin Around, Walcot Lad and Saint Romble look the three to concentrate on in a tight handicap chase and the tentative vote goes to Saint Romble. The gelding from the Philip Hobbs yard was disappointing last time out behind Monte Cristo at Stratford but prior to that he had been a fair fourth in a better race and if he can reproduce that effort he will be hard to beat, Walcot Lad rates the main danger on his latest win over course and distance when defeating Yvanovich but that was on softer ground and he will find this harder under his penalty. Just Muckin Around is another that could go well as he was a fair second behind Joe Deane last time and with the drop in trip sure to suit and off the same mark he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Gus De Bois is open to improvement and is from a yard in form so is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Saint Romble.
