In depth

Verdict

Rior is still 8lb higher than when successful over 2m at Plumpton in March. It's more than two years since ROYAL CHIEF recorded his one and only win in Ireland but this looks less competitive than the first division so Alex Dunn's grey heads the short-list. Titch Strider still retains a measure of ability and Shalianzi runs his best races here, though usually on much softer ground. Jack Snipe is unexposed but will need to improve on what he's shown so far.
