Verdict

PETE THE FEAT finished a close second in this last year before excellent runs in better company than this in the spring and though his last two runs have been poor he's taken to bounce back. Leo Luna likes it around here but he's another arriving with a couple of disappointing efforts behind him while St Dominick would be suited by softer ground. Adam du Breteau has won two Class 4 handicaps but made too many mistakes when elevated to this level at Ludlow and will need to jump better. Leg Iron didn't have much chance in a much better race than this at Sandown on his reappearance and is very inconsistent, though he's due a good run, while Royal Native can go well fresh and this is his sort of level.
