Verdict

A disappointing turn out for the prize money on offer but this presents a golden opportunity for Spectrometer. The TEAMtalk selection has been in fine form of late and scored with something in hand over 11f in a handicap at York's Ebor meeting off a mark of 75 and should have little difficulty here against some modest rivals. Arabian Moon is a useful middle distance handicapper on the level who rates a big danger on these terms while Red Guard reverts to hurdling on a fair mark being 3lb lower compared to his Ascot success in January 2001.
