Leo Luna is a dual course winner who has won off a higher mark but he’s very hard work and will test Jamie Moore’s stamina. WIZARDS BRIDGE (NAP) has won three times around here and did well to beat a subsequent easy winner over an inadequate trip at Chepstow last month. He’s 5lb higher now but Harry Cobden prefers him to stablemate Bears Rails and a quick double looks on the cards. Morney Wing was a very fortunate winner at Fakenham as he was tailed off when the duelling leaders both fell at the last. He’s effectively 3lb lower here, however. Crank Em Up has been beaten twice off this mark since winning at Wincanton in January.
Leo Luna 4-1 (12-0) Chasing leaders when mistake and lost place 2nd, towards rear and struggling after, mistake 15th, tailed off in 7th when blundered and unseated rider 3 out, at Sandown 3m (3) sft in Feb.
Wizards Bridge 7-2 (11-12) Prominent, baulked slightly 1st, led 3 out (normal 5 out), pressed flat, pulled out more towards finish, won at Chepstow 2m 3f hcp (4) sft in Mar beating The Bay Birch (10-10) by 1l, 6 ran.
Crank Em Up (IRE) 9-2 (11-0) Tracked leaders, pushed along 15th and outpaced, in 5th before 3 out, no impression, 4th of 9, 17l behind Two Smokin Barrels (11-11) at Wincanton 3m 1f hcp (3) sft in Mar.
Bears Rails 7-1 (11-12) Tracked leaders, ridden 3 out (normal 5 out), weakened before last, 6th of 11, 18 1/4l behind Looks Like Power (11-6) at Chepstow 3m hcp (4) sft in Mar.
Morney Wing (IRE) 9-1 (10-10) Chased leaders, lost place 5th, soon pushed along, under pressure in rear 5 out, rallied into remote 3rd after 2 out, left in lead last, all out, won at Fakenham 3m hcp (3) sft in Mar beating What Happens Now (11-10) by 3 1/4l, 6 ran.
