Verdict

Storm Talk gets the confident vote in the finale with Miss Merenda, Lagan Legend and Marigolds Way rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Miss Muscat and as he escapes a penalty for that win and has similar conditions to contend with he is hard to oppose. Miss Merenda rates the main danger on her latest fourth behind Brown Fox, that form has since been franked and she should be watched in the market. Logan Legend is another worthy of respect on her latest third behind Dizzy Future, she looks sure to be suited by this shorter trip and will not be far away. Marigolds Way is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Of the remainder Mistified looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price but consistency is not his strong point and for the winner we return to the well handicapped Storm Talk.
