Verdict

Old Harry Rocks had every chance when favourite here last month and looks vulnerable to a less-exposed type like TALKISCHEAP. Placed in all three of his runs in bumpers, Alan King’s charge should be seen in a better light now he tackles hurdles and steps up in trip as he’s already won three points. Global Ruler couldn’t match the finishing speed of Fattsota at Southwell in March but that was an improvement on earlier efforts and there may be more to come. Lovato ran in the German Derby in 2015 and was earlier placed in a Group 3 so could be an interesting recruit.
