Verdict

Lake Chapala dotted up on his first start for Chris Gordon at Plumpton but he’s never won off a mark this high. The Geegeez Geegee won over course and distance earlier this year and is only 3lb higher but poor old Lord Ben usually finds at least one too good in whichever grade he races in. JAUNTY INFLIGHT had looked a soft ground performer prior to scoring on a quicker surface at Taunton last month. They’ve been watering here so he should handle today’s conditions and complete a quick double.
