The quartet for the shortlist in this handicap chase are Indian Chase, Lavenoak Lad, Victree and ZIMBABWE and the vote goes to the last mentioned. The selection is not an easy ride, but he is in good form and he lost no caste in defeat last time out when he chased home Extra Bold. This step-up in trip should not be a problem and he has conditions to suit so he should make a bold bid to go one better. Indian Chase ran his best race yet over fences when he finished second behind Strolling Vagabond. He has trip and ground to suit and he is clearly capable of getting in the money. Lavenoak Lad has only managed one win in this sphere so far but he has twice run well over this trip and he may again be good enough to run on into a place. Victree is in good heart but he looks high enough in the weights at present. High Toby ran well on his debut over regulation fences last time and there could be more to come from him. There are plenty in with chances but Zimbabwe makes most appeal.
