Backtrade's best run so far came on the Polytrack though he should have come on for his recent pipe-opener and makes more appeal than Ascot fifth Common Cents. The latter finished well ahead of Rum Punch and MISS NOBLE on that occasion but Stuart Wiliams' filly looked all at sea in the soft ground and is given another chance on the evidence of her earlier second at Kempton. Indigo Iris is hard to fancy on her modest debut effort and Petrarchan looks best of Milton Bradley's two runners.
