In depth

Verdict

Look First has hit a rich vein of form of late and had Friendly Alliance behind (7lb better off for a seven-length beating) when landing a similar heat here earlier in the month. Ian Wood's charge was far from disgraced in better company at Newbury last time and should give another good account at this level. Friendly Alliance will appreciate the return to this trip after a staying-on third over a mile and three quarters at York last time while Jahash had a valid excuse for his recent effort (saddle slipped) and is dropping down the handicap.
