WILBURY STAR looks favourably treated and is give the vote in the finale ahead of Laish Ya Hajar and Vinces. The selection caught the eye when finishing third behind Love Pegasus at Kempton last time out. He broke his maiden tag at Leicester last summer and has been winless ever since. That said he has come down in the ratings to what looks like a winnable mark and, if at his best, he ought to go close. The main danger will be Laish Ya Hajar who is six pounds higher in the weights for winning at Chepstow last time out. Although he is in good order at present he has never won off a mark as high as this so a personal best effort will be required. Vinces won at Lingfield in April but ran no kind of race at Goodwood last time out and is possibly best watched for the time being. So for the winner we return to Wilbury Star.
