Adjawar (IRE) is well-bred and should have improved for his debut last season. Sir Michael Stoute's yard seems to be coming into form and he is a tentative selection in what appears to be a very open maiden. Mutawaqed was well beaten on his only start last term but has since been gelded and is another who is open to improvement for his in-form trainer. Hayley's Affair and Chicane both have the advantage of a recent run under their belts and should be ones for the short-list.
