Catch The Chron takes a drop in class and makes a long journey to contest this claimer. Nigel Tinkler's filly is the clear pick on official ratings and should strip fitter for her return at Nottingham earlier in the month. She showed her liking for a soft surface when winning a seller at Hamilton last season and it seems significant that Tony Beech has again been booked to ride her. Joint Instruction has a fair chance at these weights but is not in particularly good form and neither is his stable, so a bigger threat may come from Love Tune, who was placed four times last year and shaped with some encouragement in a handicap at Musselburgh last time, although she does have a bit to find with the selection on official ratings.
