Super Nick has yet to translate his decent bumper form to hurdles but may be worth one final chance today and the Venetia Williams-trained gelding gets the verdict over Kornati Kid and Commander Vic. The last mentioned reverts to hurdling having fallen on his chase debut last month and has to be respected, especially given the improved form of the yard's runners. The Phillip Hobbs-trained The Boat showed some promise on his Uttoxeter debut but needs to improve to trouble the judge, while West End Rocker similarly is open to improvement but faces no easy task on only his second start. Cave of The Giant has ability but is proving to be hard to win with and of more interest may be the Phillip Hobbs-trained Kornati Kid, who has shown promise in both starts. Super Nick could be different class to these though and he is preferred.
