Dicey Dancer missed out on an engagement when Ayr fell victim to the weather yesterday but he should only have to wait 24 hours to gain compensation by winning this from Kyathos and High Bird Humphrey. The selection hails from the excellent Tony Martin yard who love to raid these shores and did so successfully at Taunton last month on fast ground. A follow up at Sedgefield proved fruitless when he unseated early, but he can come good again here. Highbird Humphrey will be better returning to a sound surface and gets on well with his pilot. A repeat of his Carlisle run from October would see him go close. Kyathos returns to handicap company from sellers and has trip and ground to suit, so if he can bridge the gap in class he should be thereabouts. Dream On Dreamers has shown a couple of decent bits of form, including when runner up in a big field at Huntingdon a couple of starts back, and may prove to be best of the remainder, but preference is for Dicey Dancer.
