Lescer's Lad, In Extra Time and Gerrard are three against the field in a wide-open affair and the narrow vote is given to Gerrard. The selection has been in fair form of late and was third behind Lescer's Lad last time out but he is better off with that rival here and on these revised terms he looks the one to be on. Lescer's Lad is sure to have his supporters under conditions that suit but he looks vulnerable under his penalty. In Extra Time is another that could go well on his best form but consistency is not his strong point and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Star Glow won well last time but all his best form is over a longer trip. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but Gerrard is the pick.
