The vote here goes to Rose Of The Hill ahead of Chef Tartare and Lord Killeshanra. The Martin Pipe-trained selection has won both starts to date, each of them coming in the point-to-point field. Now unless the market tells a different story, in which case we would probably side with Chef Tartare, he looks an interesting recruit and, with his stable in flying form, looks set to go well. Brigadier Benson showed some promise in a fair Wincanton novices' event behind Chilling Place on his debut and could improve with that experience behind him. However, Chef Tartare got a lot closer to the same horse on his last run, and with Ruby Walsh coming over to take the ride, his chance is a very obvious one. Jacks Craic hinted at promise last season but fell on his seasonal return, while One Cornetto showed promise in bumpers last year but others are preferred today. Alpha Gamble is one to watch for in the betting but Lord Killeshanra has shown plenty of promise in bumpers, including last time in a very good event at Cheltenham. He is entitled to plenty of respect but, on this occasion, we will side with Rose Of The Hill.
