A tough race to call here for punters with many in with chances on their best form but the principals look to be Henry Tun, Valiant Romeo and Maluti and the tentative vote is given to Valiant Romeo. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but a reproduction of his latest second behind Champagne Cracker looks rock solid. He will like the ground and from a good draw he is taken to score. Henry Tun rates the main danger on his latest second behind American Cousin but he is best when allowed to dominate. That does not look likely here and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Maluti is another worthy of respect as she is very well weighted on her best form but consistency is not her strong point so she can not be put forward with any confidence. Multahab is another with place claims but he ran as if in the handicappers grip last time out. Of the remainder, King Egbert is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum, for the winner we return to Valiant Romeo.
