Forfeiter gets the tentative vote with Doctored and Wondersobright also to the fore. The selection appears to have found a bit of form over hurdles for his new connections and has run well enough the last twice to think that a race of this nature may come his way. He finished a close up third at Plumpton in November and probably bettered that run when finishing fourth here last month. He finished a length in front of Doctored on that occasion and that one was in the process of running a big race next time only to run out at the second last. He's fitted with blinkers as a result and has claims if they have the desired effect but he may be one to be wary of. Wondersobright is a fairly consistent sort at the right level and may be able to make the frame with Lady Roisin and Spendent Spree also worth a look but Kyles Prince could pose a bigger threat. He was gambled on at Plumpton yesterday and, depending how he fared, would be of interest if lining up but at this stage of proceedings, we'll stick with Forfeiter.
