In depth

Verdict

Inghwung, Aux Le Bahn and Another Brother make up the short-list with Noel Chance's runner preferred. The selection was short of peak fitness when making a belated return to action over course and distance last month. However, he still travelled well for a long way and managed to come home a length in front of beaten favourite Another Brother. The O'Neill runner should have more to offer but it's hard to see him reversing the form with the selection who looks the better hurdling prospect. Double Shot and Captain Tidds are improving with experience and should appreciate this step up in trip but Inghwung has achieved more to date and has yet to run a bad race. She saw out an extended 3 miles at Newbury well enough for this drop back in trip to be a slight concern and she may have to settle for a minor role behind Aux Le Bahn.
