Keresforth showed enough last time to warrant support ahead of Shish and newcomer Songgaria. This is a race that should not take too much winning and Keresforth will not have to improve much on his second to Mytton's Dream at Beverley to prevail. Ian Wood's juvenile was having only his third career start that day and the application of blinkers and drop to selling company nearly combined to see him open his account. Shish has been a bit one-paced so far and probably needs seven furlongs on the evidence so far, while the market should tell us more about the chances of Songgaria on her debut. Sapphire Princess also sees the track for the first time, but is the much lesser-fancied stablemate of Keresforth who gets a confident vote.
