EWELL PLACE never looked like beating the winner Crown Dependency when runner-up on his debut at Goodwood. But the latter has ran well in Group company since and Robert Mills' charge looks to have the best form of these. School Fees has shown plenty of speed in a couple of starts over 5f so far and can figure but Spunky failed to build on his debut effort with a poor run at Windsor last time.
