In depth

Verdict

A few disappointing types here and Nick The Silver could prove best of them, Unusual Suspect and What's The Count may provide most danger. Martin Pipe's gelding was made a warm favourite for a handicap hurdle at Sandown last time but ran out heading for the horsewalk past the stands. He was also well fancied when unseating his jockey the time before. However his second to He's The Guvnor at Warwick in January stands up to close inspection and if he can keep his mind on the job today he should collect. Unusual Suspect wasn't beaten far behind Party Games in a competitive event at Huntingdon last time and should be capable of getting into the money. What's The Count put in his best performance for some time when fourth behind Go For Bust and could go well despite top-weight. Put Or Shutup is one to watch for in the betting , but in a very tricky affair Nick The Silver just gets the nod.
