In depth

Verdict

Lambrini Mist has been in good form this season and can gain another success, Gerrard and Lescer's Lad are also running well at present and look the obvious dangers. Lambrini Mist showed tremendous courage to get the better of Prairie Minstrel at Leicester last time on good to firm ground. Today's surface is a slight concern but he has won on good in the past and a chance is taken in that regard. Gerrard was an impressive winner over course and distance last time out and with no ground concerns he has to rate a big danger. Lescer's Lad showed improved form to chase home Anshabil Hereford last time out, but may struggle against Gerrard on a form line with that winner. However he is going the right way and may get into the places. The pick of the others could be Moscow Leader, but our idea of the winner is Lambrini Mist.
