Richard Hannon is enjoying another fine season and can add to the tally with Mister Saif while Ann Summers Two and La Petite Chinoise are others to consider along with Verkhotina, who makes her debut. Mister Saif shaped well when third in a decent Goodwood maiden on his debut and again showed more than enough ability to score at this level when occupying the same position on his latest start over a mile at Kempton. Despite being related to the smart Star Of Gdansk who was placed in the Derby, the Miswaki colt has an abundance of speed and should have little difficulty in coping with the step back in trip. Ann Summers Two has shown a consistent level of form and put up another creditable effort when placed off a mark of 84 in a competitive nursery off at Beverley last week. Brian Meehan's filly looks sure to be involved at the finish while there is little between Kristal's Dream and La Petite Chinoise on recent Windsor form although the latter was badly hampered and may prove capable of reversing the placings on this occasion. Roger Charlton saddles an interesting newcomer in the shape of Verkhotina who could easily prove good enough and should be closely monitored in the market but Mister Saif holds strong credentials and will be hard to peg back.
