In depth

Verdict

Successful twice between the flags, NATIVE GALLERY did well to run Jetnova to a length on only his second start over hurdles. The winner franked the form next time but Ben De Haan's charge was always going to be put over fences sooner rather than later and looks to have found a good opportunity to open his account here. Swift Lord won a Downpatrick bumper for Paul Cashman last season and was a fair third on his debut over hurdles at Ludlow. But that run was almost a year ago so it remains to be seen if he's fully wound-up for this, while the remainder have little to recommend them.
