Verdict

GILT EDGE overcame a 4lb rise here last time to follow up an earlier success at Bath so a further 2lb rise doesn’t look insurmountable for Christopher Mason’s much-improved filly. Cotubanama has only won at Salisbury so far but her latest second at Leicester suggests she’s back on a fair mark. Soldier's Son has been showing gradual improvement and Emma Taff again takes off 7lb but the others are harder to recommend.
