In depth

Verdict

Cornish Beau is only 3lb higher than when scoring at Pontefract in April but has disappointed in two starts since then so looks best watched, while Jamie Osborne's Corr Point may do better back on turf after two below par efforts on the Polytrack but he seems too high in the handicap and a better bet looks to be MILNAGAVIE. Richard Hannon's filly opened her account when landing a Windsor handicap on her most recent start in June and she may be able to defy the 5lb rise for that win with further improvement to come after the break. Eve Johnson Houghton's Lauberhorn is hard to back on recent form, while Lucky Breeze has also struggled on recent starts.
