In depth

Verdict

Amy Weaver's Grams And Ounces has been in fine form of late, winning three of his last four starts, but has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper as a result and he may struggle to win again. Rock The Stars has been well campaigned by John Hills this term and has every chance of resuming winning ways under Richard Hughes, if he stays this far but he is not certain to do so. John Flint's Mr Money Maker has more to do off a 5lb higher mark than when scoring over a mile at Bath last time, as does Beverley winner Saint Thomas, who struggled off his new mark at Sandown. The vote then goes the way of John Dunlop's WARLU WAY, who is unexposed after just four starts and looks worth siding with dropping back in distance and racing on faster ground.
