In depth

Verdict

Global Thrill pops up when least expected but Bonne Question has only had one run in the last 12 months and that was in June last year. Mr Jack remains winless but is consistent and has place claims again. BARATINEUR has been knocking on the door but has switched stables since his latest second at Sedgefield. A 6lb rise hasn’t helped his cause but Richard Patrick’s claim takes care of half of that and this is not a tough contest. There doesn’t look much between the David Pipe pair but it must be significant that Tom Scudamore prefers Lingfield second Max Do Brazil to Delface while the drop back to 2m will also suit the four-year-old Caswell Bay.
