Sanam is tempting after rattling up a stylish three-timer before disappointing when last seen in late June. He returns after a decent break and has to be of interest but this is the first time, despite being a four-year-old, that he's run on Turf. Forbidding and ROYAL FLAG came home 1-2 over 2m at Newcastle last month and the winner is actually a pound better off. However, consistency of the runner-up over this shorter trip might just swing matters in his favour. Pepper Street has steadily found form this term and looks a danger if handling a first attempt at this staying trip.
