AMAZING VALOUR finally took advantage of a tumbling mark to score at Southwell on Sunday. Though penalised, Peter Bowen's 10-year-old is still remarkably well treated on previous form and will be tough to beat if he truly has turned the corner. Carriglea Wood was well backed at Stratford after winning at Uttoxeter but ended up well beaten while Kilmore West hasn't shown a great deal over fences so far. Hawk Run may just need this but Tin Pot Man won at Fakenham in May though then finished tailed off at Hereford in June.
