        Verdict

        None of these inspire much confidence. Senora Lobo finished second at Chepstow back in May when it was soft going and Foie Gras went close at Brighton in the same month. Imperial Spirit claimed the runners-up spot at Ripon last Saturday in a maiden handicap but Compton Albion ran a shocker when handicapping for the first time at Nottingham. The token vote in a poor affair goes to top weight IDLE CURIOSITY as she's at least won a race this year albeit over 7f on the Polytrack, but there's an outside chance she'll improve for only her second start on Turf.
