Verdict
Beckhani has experienced a series of reverses at short odds so it's to be hoped that fast ground can make all the difference to the fortunes of the six-year-old. Suburban Bay hasn't won for two years despite hitting the frame with astonishing regularity so we will settle on GREEN BANK. Charlie Longsdon's charge never travelled at Worcester on debut and he was sensibly pulled up. A staying hurdler of some note, it may just have been a bad day at the office. Sunglasses takes a step up in trip this afternoon while Sparkling Tara is inconsistent but was very much on a going day at Hexham when dropped into a selling hurdle. Sue Smith's charge should have gleaned some much-needed confidence from that victory. Pyjama Games is a proven stayer but is 15lb higher than when he won at Sedgefield.
