Verdict
BOSTON JOE returned from a lengthy absence with a victory at Wincanton. Eased down in the closing stages, there looks more to come over this longer trip. Testing ground is a worry for Lincoln Lyn and Royal Mer but Pageant Material won on heavy over track and trip back in March. Boys Of Wexford failed to complete over timber on his reappearance but better is expected back over fences for this.
