Verdict

Second in a bumper, ONEWAYWEST occupied the same finishing position at Huntingdon on last month’s hurdling debut. But he showed enough to suggest he can win at this level if handling the testing ground. Another Lord floundered in heavy going here on his recent hurdling bow while Lump Sum has the strongest form in bumpers having won at Bangor and is preferred to Chauffeur Driven and Duc Du Rene now hurdling.
