      Verdict

      Ninepins is eased in grade but has yet to land a blow in handicaps so far. Mistamel only beat two rivals on fast ground at Bath last week and CHAMPAGNE CHAMP, who is also penalised, looks a better bet. He beat a decent sort over course and distance eight days ago and is on an upward curve on that evidence. Alfaraaby and Whitchurch have form at this lowly level and should be pressing for a place again but juvenile winner Duc de Seville hasn't shown much so far this year.
