      Verdict

      The best race on the card and a fascinating event in prospect. BILIDN has racked up five in a row in terrific style with good-margin successes and has understandably been raised a total of 29lb for his last four turf wins. He handles all ground types so won't be inconvenienced here and it's best to stick with him until beaten. However, Asker is a major danger. Unbeaten in two starts, one in a NH bumper and latterly when scoring easily on his Flat debut at Chepstow, he remains totally unexposed. The High Chaparral gelding clearly has ability and this should give us a better indication of his true merit. Praxiteles has been campaigned over timber in recent outings but it's worth noting that he did land a couple of Flat handicaps around this time last year.
